We created ORIMONDO around a simple conviction: everyone should be able to know where a product was actually made before buying it. Because this information is often scattered or difficult to distinguish from the origin of the brand, we wanted to bring it together in one clear catalogue, highlight European know-how and lead visitors directly to official sellers whenever they are identified.
The purpose of ORIMONDO
To help everyone know where a product was actually made — not merely where the brand was born. ORIMONDO brings together products made in Europe, classifies them by country, region, category, brand and craftsperson, documents their origin and leads directly to the official website of the seller or producer.
Documented origin
Each product page separates confirmed information from details that still require evidence. Country, sourced region, workshop, materials and available proof are gathered in the traceability record.
Direct and transparent purchasing
ORIMONDO does not process purchases or take a commission on orders. When a seller website is identified, visitors buy directly from the listed seller. Otherwise, no link to an intermediary marketplace is shown. Any future advertising placements will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
